Hogwarts???

The National Cathedral in Washington DC

The architecture is amazing! It’s so much better than I could capture in a photo. The cathedral was so huge and there were so many gargoyles! some like frogs, lions, alligators….even Darth Vader! I couldn’t find that one, there really were soooo many!

The stained glass was so pretty. It covered every hall! The colors were so vivid and bright. I really like the one on the left there, it is of Noah, with the rainbow, water, and arc.

These photos do no justice to the beauty. The photo on the right doesn’t show how golden and shiny it was. The photo on the right doesn’t show the detail. That is all stone and so intricately designed.

The halls were so long and neat. It was almost like we were visiting Hogwarts. This is Mason in one of the long halls.

Go Kelly!

We got up early this morning to go over the the GMU campus to cheer my good friend Kelly on in her race. Mason was on his best behavior and enjoyed the chilly weather.

Mason is so proud of his Aunt Kelly!

After the race Kelly definitely smelled better than our little stinky pants!

Torture?

Mason wasn’t happy about the photo shoot I set up today. Apparently it’s not as fun for him as it is for me. The pumpkin may have been a bit cold but I don’t think all the screaming was necessary. This shot was taken in between screams when gasping for air. He almost looks like he is enjoying himself… He’s not.

Cox Farms with the Choi Family! The boys needed a diaper change. There was pressure to have a diaper changing race…. I felt like I got the raw end of the deal. Mason’s training has only begun. Jack has mastered the lift, spread, down commands.

Mason has acquired the nickname Bubbles from me. Not only does he blow bubbles but has a bubble butt too. Michael has shortened it to Bubba.

The Fairfax Fall Festival was lots of fun! It was very hot though….

Mason can hold his head up so high now. He rocks back and forth on his side too. I am so ready for him to roll over!
